Overview
The proposed 4700m² Grain Storage Depot and 1530m² Office and Agricultural Wholesale Shop at Whiteshawgate for LS Smellie & Sons, provide will enable future growth and the continued development of the quality services to the agricultural and rural community.
The provision of a private water supply from a bore hole located on site, grey water re-use and ground source heat pumps providing space heating are some of the sustainability measures that have been incorporated into the project. This coupled with the dispersal of surface water on-site through natural drainage systems, reed beds and detention basins etc. have helped reduce the environmental impact of a development of this scale.
