Overview
Formally the home of the Wilson & Garden Ltd's writing board manufacturer’s factory, the site lay vacant since circa 2008 when the factory was demolished following its closure in 2004. With no prospect of industrial use, the proposal for 44 quality residential dwellings for social rent comprising flats, cottage flats and semi-detached properties significantly improves the area and addresses the derelict visual aspect of Newtown Street and Church Street.

Overview
Having lain vacant for several decades without any prospect of industrial or economic activity, the site at Hornal Road long lacked a sense of purpose and has related poorly to neighbouring land uses. Through the development of 60 flatted dwellings for social rent, the high quality residential environment offers the opportunity to regenerate what was a ineffective industrial site and significantly improves visual amenity at an important gateway into Bothwell Park Industrial Estate and address a derelict visual aspect to Bothwell Road.

Overview
Brunel Court lies on the corner of The Murray Road and Kelvin Road within East Kilbride.  Formerly occupied by Honeywell House, a two-storey office building owned by South Lanarkshire Council, the site had lain derelict for some time. Bordered by the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park immediately to the East and River House to the North, the 32 flatted dwellings with associated car parking spaces located to the side and rear of the building emphasises the junction of The Murray Road and Kelvin Road and forms a strong streetscape from the approach in both directions along the busy thoroughfare.

Overview
Grown out of a requirement for social and affordable housing in East Dunbartonshire, the 1.43 acre site between Southbank Road and the Southern edge of the Forth & Clyde Canal was chosen for the proposed development for 65 new homes. The development comprises 25 properties for East Dunbartonshire Council plus 40 for Trust Housing Association and retains the pedestrian link along the canal improving the existing quayside with an improved surface that is much more appropriate to the canal and its users.
